The mythological references used in the game:
- Theseus: Theseus is a brave Athenian hero who chooses to enter the labyrinth to put an end to the terror of the Minotaur.
Guided by intelligence as much as strength, he accepts Ariadne’s help and uses her thread to survive the maze.
- The Minotaur: The Minotaur is a terrifying creature, half man and half bull,
born from a curse placed upon the royal house of Crete needign every year to be fed with human sacrifices.
Feared for its uncontrollable violence, it was imprisoned in an immense labyrinth so complex that no one could escape it.
- Daedalus: The master architect who designed the labyrinth for King Minos
- Ariadne: The daughter of King Minos, she is the one who helps Theseus escape the labyrinth by giving him a thread to mark his path.
- Hermes: Hermes is a fast and agile messenger god, known for delivering messages between gods and humans.
- Hera: Hera is the goddess of marriage and family in Greek mythology, symbolizing life through birth, protection of women, and the continuity of generations.
- Icarus: Icarus is the son of Daedalus. He is known for his wings made of feathers and wax, which he uses to fly away from the island of Crete.
